Descripción

El Índice de Porcentaje Alcista (BPI) es un indicador de análisis técnico que mide el porcentaje de acciones dentro de un índice o sector específico que actualmente están formando un patrón alcista en gráficos de puntos y figuras. Se utiliza para evaluar el sentimiento general del mercado o el sentimiento dentro de un sector en particular.

Para calcular el BPI, se identifican las acciones dentro del índice o sector que muestran una señal de compra. Luego, se divide el número de acciones con señales de compra entre el número total de acciones del índice o sector y se multiplica por 100.

Interpretación del BPI:

BPI superior al 70%: Indicación de un mercado alcista
BPI inferior al 30%: Indicación de un mercado bajista
El BPI ayuda a los traders a identificar condiciones de sobrecompra o sobreventa y posibles puntos de giro en el mercado. Si el BPI es muy alto, podría indicar que el mercado está sobrecomprado y podría girar a la baja pronto. Si es muy bajo, podría significar que el mercado está sobrevendido y podría empezar a subir.
